  • Note di contenuto: There is a renewal of interest among musicologists in the preserved manuscripts and prints found in the Biblioteka Jagiellonska in Cracow, Poland.The music prints in the Jagiellonian Library were formely stored in Berlin, Germany. An examination and attempted documentation of Berlin derived holdings in the field of Italin printed secular vocal music of the Renaissance and the Baroque periods by individual composers revealed manuscripts that provide the historical circumstances of the collection's preservation. The unique collection provide more than musical information as they offer valuable information regarding the style of work of different composers.
